i guess i'm just screwed up cause i am more excited about the camera that i will not be able to afford for another month than i am about the fact that i am moving out tomorrow.

how do i feel? i feel nothing and really i think i can be ok with that for a few more days. i am moving out of my house on monday and into Blanton dorm at UT. i hope that everyone who is just getting out of highschool this week is as happy as they seem to be, and i am happy for them. i was as excited as you probabky are now, back in march, my summer vacation is just about done with. UT summer school is starting soon and because it is summer school i will probably either end up rooming with someone very nerdy, or someone who is on academic probation. i think i am more of a nerd on academic probation.

today was my first day attending ACC Northridge. hot accessories at Northridge this season include, Marlboro Lights, bad haircuts and cell phones. seriously everyone is either smoking or talking on theirs phones between class. i thought kids at Garza did a pretty good job killing the social scene, but these ACC people really really don't want to hang out with each other. my monday/wednesday class is a lab class so i don't actually have to show up ever, i just have to take the final. i really need to get out of this town, its time to move on. i got the scariest picture ever in the mail today, i'll scan it for you guys next week.

so today dan mentioned that there was a gun show soon, and it really made me want to find my gun, so i'd have it on my 3 week vaction, of course. interpol is playing soon which totally makes up for not going to ACL. i still think ACL would have been too big of a hasslesunburn. as much as i enjoy being a nerd ANDAND an object of ridicule at garza, i day dream about how much nicer it would be to live in north korea. this girl yells "hey sexy" at me every day, real fake like.

in general i think livejournal and aim are just additional layers of seperation between people, and just serve to decrease the amount of time we spent actually speaking to other humans, we just think we are communicating. currently it would not be physically possible for me to speak to any of you so i guess its not too bad. i think i must be the stuck up rich kid of garza, that and i'm not pregnant. the week after next i have a 17 day weekend.

so when i put those photography club flyers up all over the school i really wasn't anticipating not being at LBJ on the day that i said there would be a meeting. so if you show up, and i'm not there, i'm probably out having some fun, i nominate... eli durst, to be the new photo club preseident. ha, what a crappy gift to eli. i'm not even enrolled anymore, it feels pretty good so far, but where is everybody?
p.s. i hope i don't ever want to go back, i'd have to stone myself.

one more thing, if you have seen the flyers all over the school, you might know that the photo. club meeting is scheduled for tuesday, september 14th, at 3:45pm, in mr. stormberg's room, #153. hopefully we will be in the darkroom as soon as next week.

at this moment i am scanning in all of the photographs from my california adventure and i am going to burn them to cd so that everybody who has been asking what i did, will stop asking, or at least ask better questions. they aren't photos that just say, "look at me, i'm here with so-and-so, doing such-and-such", i really try to not take pictures that suck. but if anyone is interested post your address.
